Blue-Med Africa is a Ghanaian non-governmental and non-profit organization in Health set up in 2008 by a group of young, dynamic, and dedicated doctors, nurses and social workers. The mission of Blue-Med Africa is to support the reduction of morbidity and mortality, especially of children and youths, through education, treatment, advocacy, training, and liaising with government and non-profit organizations. Our areas of focus are HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, malaria, and tuberculosis.
We are a non-profit, non-political, non-denominational, tax-exempt entity founded in 2008. Blue-Med Africa is registered under Ghana's company code/charity registered number G-27,050.
The main goals and objectives of Blue-Med Africa include:
* Treatment, rehabilitation, and increase of awareness of HIV/AIDS, malaria, hepatitis, and tuberculosis
* Vocational, technical, and information communication technology (ICT) training
* Adolescent and reproductive health education
* The promotion of community-based environmental hygiene through advocacy.
